01Requirements
Strong experience testing cloud migration projects (AWS/ Azure/ GCP).
Hands on expertise with data migration testing: ETL/ELT, data integrity, reconciliation using automation tools such as Selenium, or equivalent;
Experience in leading efforts for NFR/ Performance testing in cloud environments.
Skilled in creating end to end migration test strategies and cutover validation plans.
Ability to lead automation strategy, best practices across onshore/offshore teams and collaborate with cloud, DevOps, and security teams.
Good understanding of test data management, environment readiness, and end to end automation coverage
Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Strong communication skills for reporting automation progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders

02Responsibilities
Lead planning, development, execution, and oversight of test automation framework for cloud migration programs.
Define migration specific test strategies covering infrastructure, data, integration, NFR/ performance, and security testing.
Coordinate testing across hybrid environments (on prem + cloud) and ensure environment readiness.
Oversee data validation activities, including schema checks, ETL/ELT verification, and data reconciliation.
Manage defect triage, quality risks, and blockers across multiple migration release trains/ waves or workloads.
Lead execution of performance, scalability, failover, and DR testing for cloud deployed applications.
Oversee automation execution within CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable, reliable continuous testing.
Communicate status, risks, and readiness updates to stakeholders and ensure a smooth migration cutover.
Mentor automation engineers, enforce coding standards, and support capability uplift across distributed QA teams
Maintain and ensure traceability for all migration activities."
