9+ years of overall DevOps, SCM, or Platform Engineering experience.Minimum 3+ years leading GitHub Enterprise migration projects.Proven experience migrating Azure DevOps repositories and pipelines to GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions.Experience migrating from Perforce, Bitbucket, SVN, or other SCM platforms.Strong understanding of Git internals, branching strategies, repository management, and version control best practices.Hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions, YAML workflows, and CI/CD modernization.Experience with GitHub APIs and Azure DevOps REST APIs.Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong scripting skills using Python or Shell.Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.Strong documentation, mentoring, and technical communication abilities.Ability to lead architecture discussions and guide engineering teams without being a full-time application developer.Good to Have
GitHub Administration CertificationAzure DevOps CertificationAWS/Azure/GCP CertificationsExperience building migration accelerators and automation platforms.Exposure to enterprise observability tools and monitoring frameworks.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. .
