Account Manager ( Finance & Operations ) (Pune)

Role Overview The Account Manager will be responsible for managing key accounts, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring accurate billing, taxation compliance, and financial reporting. The role includes handling accounting processes, GST compliance, reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities - Manage and maintain relationships with assigned accounts and stakeholders - Oversee end-to-end financial activities related to accounts - Prepare, verify, and process invoices and billing statements accurately - Maintain and update financial records in accounting software (e.g., Tally) - Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing of accounts - Perform bank reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial transactions - Manage GST compliance including GST invoicing, input tax credit, and GST returns filing (GSTR1, GSTR-3B, etc.) - Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments - Coordinate with internal teams for expense tracking and approvals - Prepare financial reports, statements, and performance summaries - Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies - Support audit activities by maintaining proper financial documentation Required Skills - Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes - Hands-on experience with Tally ERP or similar accounting software - Knowledge of GST laws, GST returns filing, and tax compliance - Experience in invoicing, billing, ledger management, and bank reconciliation - Robust analytical and numerical skills - Proficiency in MS Excel (formulas, reports, data analysis) - Good communication and coordination skills - High attention to detail and accuracy in financial work - Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently Education - Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field - B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) preferred - Additional certification in GST, taxation, or accounting software is an advantage Location Pune, Maharashtra Disclaimer: This job posting has been aggregated from external source.
