01Key Responsibilities
Invoicing & Billing: Process and manage all incoming invoices for construction materials. Verify and certify quantities received at the site against the generated invoices before processing payments.
Procurement & Sourcing: Assist in sourcing construction materials. Generate and analyze comparative statements (quotations) from multiple vendors to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Site Payroll Management: Maintain, verify, and process daily attendance records and salary sheets for site workers and labor staff.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: * Manage all vendor and supplier payables accurately and on time.
Track and manage receivables from property sales or client contracts.
Actively follow up with clients/customers for pending sales payments.
Banking Operations: Handle day-to-day banking activities. Act as the primary point of contact for communicating and liaising with banks for transactions, statements, and financial clearances.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date financial ledgers and ensure all financial data complies with standard accounting principles and company policies.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in the construction, real estate, or contracting sectors.
Technical Skills: * Strong proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime/ERP 9) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for comparatives and salary sheets).
Solid understanding of construction-related accounting (material billing, labor payroll).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and Marathi (preferred for local banking and site worker communication).
Key Competencies:
High ethical standards and confidentiality in handling financial data.
Strong negotiation skills for material sourcing and vendor management.
High attention to detail, especially when certifying quantities and processing payroll.
Proactive approach to following up on receivables. .
