Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with solid working knowledge of Tally Prime to manage financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements. The ideal candidate should be proficient in accounting principles and capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain books of accounts using Tally Prime
- Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance and filings
- Generate invoices, purchase orders, and billing records
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting
- Conduct ledger scrutiny and resolve discrepancies
- Support internal and external audits
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
- Proven experience as an Accountant (15 years preferred)
- Strong hands-on experience with Tally Prime
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation rules
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Good understanding of accounting principles and standards
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling end-to-end accounting
- Familiarity with payroll processing
- Knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
