01Overview
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Accountant with 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, bank coordination, ISO compliance audits, and inventory reporting.
Responsibilities
Prepare and file monthly/quarterly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and perform regular GSTR-2B reconciliations. Ensure accurate calculation, deduction, and timely deposit of TDS and other statutory liabilities.Assist in planning and executing internal, financial, and ISO compliance audits. Maintain necessary documentation and records to ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory frameworks.Perform daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS). Act as the primary point of contact for bank officials regarding documentation, operational queries, and routine banking facilities.Process payroll, verify attendance records, and oversee timely salary disbursements. Manage statutory payroll deductions, including PF, ESI, and Professional Tax.Maintain, update, and reconcile physical inventory data with accounting records. Prepare periodic stock statements for internal audits and management review.Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and daily ledger entries. Assist in month-end closing procedures, financial reporting, and balance sheet preparation.
Requirements
4 to 8 years of proven experience managing end-to-end accounting processes, GST filing, payroll, inventory reconciliation, and audit management.Bachelors or Masters degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com), Finance, or a related field.Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.Proficiency in Tally (Prime/ERP 9), Zoho Books, or similar enterprise accounting software.Advanced command of MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
Preferred Skills
Regional language proficiency (Tamil/Malayalam) is a strong plus. .
