Key duties include monthly closing, tracking production costs, raw material inventory reconciliation, and preparing MIS reports for management. This role typically requires a degree in accounting, experience in manufacturing, and proficiency in ERP software. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] Key Responsibilities - Cost Accounting: Analyze production costs (raw materials, power, labor) to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain inventory valuation. - Inventory Control: Perform physical inventory counts, reconcile, and value stocks (raw materials, fuel, finished cement). - Financial Reporting: Perform month-end closing, bank reconciliations, and prepare profit & loss accounts and balance sheets. - Compliance: Ensure compliance with GST, tax regulations, and internal audit requirements. - Operations Coordination: Coordinate with plant, procurement, and site personnel to track expenditures and verify operational data. - Budgeting: Assist in creating annual budgets and forecasting, comparing actual performance against standard costs.
