About the roleConcentrix is seeking a detailoriented Accountant to oversee the accounting, taxation, and financial operations of its import and trading business. The role involves managing import purchases, customs transactions, GST compliance, vendor payments, customer invoicing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.Key responsibilitiesRecord and account for import purchases, freight, customs duty, clearing, forwarding expenses, and other landed costs.Verify import documentation such as purchase orders, commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of entry, and shipping documents.Reconcile import transactions with suppliers and logistics providers.Process supplier invoices, ensure timely payments, and manage accounts payable.Monitor customer collections, prepare invoices, credit and debit notes, and follow up on overdue payments.Prepare and file GST returns, reconcile GSTR1, GSTR3B, GSTR2B, and manage input tax credit accounting.Perform bank reconciliations, handle domestic and international payments, and coordinate import remittances.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conduct ledger scrutiny, and support budgeting and cashflow management.Maintain compliance with accounting standards, GST regulations, FEMA requirements, and company policies.Required profileBachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in import or trading environments.Strong analytical, reconciliation, and detailoriented skills.Excellent communication, coordination abilities, and integrity in handling financial information.Required skillsProficiency with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar CIS portal systems.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and manual data modeling. .
