The Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting activities, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and preparing invoices and receipts. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, assisting with monthly and annual closing, and supporting tax and compliance documentation. The role also involves preparing basic financial reports, monitoring expenses, and coordinating with internal teams and external vendors for accurate financial data. The Accountant is expected to follow established policies, meet deadlines, and maintain organized records in accordance with relevant accounting standards. Qualifications Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and general ledger managementProficiency with accounting software and MS Office applications, especially Excel for spreadsheets and reportingAbility to manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliationsAttention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and strong organizational skills for maintaining financial recordsUnderstanding of tax rules, statutory compliance, and support for audits and financial reviewsEffective communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholdersAbility to work independently on-site in Palghar and manage multiple tasks within deadlinesDiploma or bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field preferredPrior experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role in a small or medium-sized business is an advantage .
