Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accounting Internship role based in Kozhikode. The intern will assist with preparing and reviewing financial records, supporting the creation and analysis of financial statements, and posting journal entries in alignment with accounting standards. Daily tasks include working with accounting software, organizing documentation, reconciling accounts, and helping maintain accurate ledgers. The intern will also support data-driven reporting efforts by gathering financial data, performing basic analyses, and contributing to performance dashboards and summaries. Under guidance from experienced team members, the intern will learn best practices in accounting and analytics while contributing to client-focused projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of Finance and the ability to interpret Financial Statements.Candidates should possess familiarity with Accounting Software and the ability to record Journal Entries (Accounting).Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and attention to detail for reviewing data and identifying discrepancies.Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards; coursework in Accounting, Finance, or related fields is preferred.Proficiency in spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) and comfort working with numerical data.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly.Ability to work on-site in Kozhikode, collaborate within a team, and manage time to meet deadlines.Prior internship or project experience in accounting, finance, or data analytics is an advantage but not required. .
