01Key Responsibilities
A. Accounting & bookkeeping:
1. Maintain books of accounts on an accrual basis with strong accounting knowledge
2. Finalize books of accounts accurately and efficiently
3. Apply tax accounting principles and related accounting practices
4. Maintain and manage effective financial data repositories and records
B. Payroll:
1. Process payroll for companies accurately and efficiently
2. Prepare salary computations and salary slips
3. Apply knowledge of PF, ESI, and applicable labour law provisions
C. Direct taxation:
1. Apply knowledge of TDS, advance tax, and income tax provisions applicable to private limited companies
2. File TDS and Income Tax returns as required
3. Manage basic tax compliance and related calculations
D. Indirect taxation:
1. File GST returns and manage GST payment and deposit procedures
2. Complete annual GST return filing, including GSTR-9
3. Perform GST reconciliation and manage related compliance requirements
E. Corporate law:
1. Apply basic to working knowledge of corporate law as required
2. Develop an understanding of corporate law provisions and demonstrate willingness to learn
