01Overview
We are looking for an experienced and highly responsible Accounts Officer to independently manage our accounts, financial controls, costing, inventory reconciliation, and receivables. The ideal candidate should have experience in a manufacturing company and be capable of strengthening financial discipline across the organization. Key ResponsibilitiesAccounts & FinanceManage day-to-day accounting in Tally/ERP. Record all accounting transactions accurately and on time. Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) on a regular basis. Manage customer and vendor ledgers. Ensure timely GST, TDS and statutory compliance. Prepare monthly MIS reports for management. Customer Reconciliation & ReceivablesReconcile customer accounts regularly. Ensure all sales invoices are recorded in customer books. Follow up for pending invoices, debit notes, credit notes and payment differences. Coordinate with customer accounts teams to resolve reconciliation issues. Prepare customer ageing reports and support payment collections. Vendor & Purchase AccountingVerify every purchase bill with the approved Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GRN), quantity and rates before booking. Reconcile vendor accounts regularly. Identify missing invoices and discrepancies. Debit Notes / Credit NotesGenerate and account for debit notes and credit notes arising from material rejections, shortages and rate differences. Ensure no rejection remains pending without proper accounting. CostingPrepare detailed product and project costing. Calculate material, labour, overhead and other manufacturing costs. Compare estimated costing with actual costing and highlight variances. Inventory ControlMaintain accurate inventory records. Conduct monthly stock reconciliation and physical stock audits. Investigate stock shortages and excesses. Coordinate with production and stores departments for inventory accuracy. Financial ControlsVerify expenses before payment. Ensure every payment is supported by proper approvals and documents. Assist in improving accounting systems, internal controls and financial processes. ReportingPrepare regular reports on: Customer outstanding Vendor outstanding Cash flow Inventory status Project profitability Cost analysis Monthly MIS Skills RequiredStrong knowledge of Tally Prime (ERP experience preferred) Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, SUMIFS, Data Analysis) Good understanding of GST, TDS and accounting standards Strong reconciliation and analytical skills Experience in costing and inventory accounting Ability to communicate with customers and vendors regarding accounts Preferred Industry ExperienceCandidates with experience in Manufacturing, Retail Fixtures, Furniture, Interior Fit-outs, Engineering, Fabrication, Lighting, Metal or Project-based industries will be preferred.
