AI/ML Data Annotation Associate

We are looking for a detail-oriented AI/ML Data Annotation Associate to support the development and improvement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions. The role involves reviewing video footage, identifying relevant objects, activities, events, or behaviors, and accurately annotating the video data according to defined guidelines. The annotated data will be used to train, validate, and improve Machine Learning and Computer Vision models. This role is suitable for individuals who are observant, comfortable working with digital tools, and capable of performing structured, accuracy-focused work. Key Responsibilities Review video footage and understand the activities, objects, events, and interactions occurring within the video.Annotate and label video data using specialized annotation tools based on predefined guidelines.Identify and tag objects, people, actions, movements, events, or other attributes required for Machine Learning models.Perform annotation activities such as:Object identification and classificationBounding box or region annotationObject tracking across video framesActivity and action classificationEvent identificationTimestamp and sequence annotationAttribute and metadata taggingMaintain high levels of annotation accuracy and consistency.Review completed annotations and correct errors before submission.Follow project-specific annotation standards and quality guidelines.Identify ambiguous scenarios and escalate them for clarification.Incorporate feedback from quality reviewers and continuously improve annotation accuracy.Meet agreed productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle video and data used for annotation.Collaborate with annotation leads, quality teams, data teams, and AI/ML teams when required.Required Skills Strong attention to detail and observational ability.Ability to concentrate on video content for extended periods.Good visual interpretation and pattern-recognition skills.Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software tools.Ability to understand and consistently follow detailed instructions.Good written comprehension and communication skills.Ability to distinguish between similar objects, activities, or events.Strong commitment to accuracy and quality.Ability to work independently while meeting productivity targets.Key Performance Indicators Performance may be measured based on: Annotation accuracyQuality-review scoresConsistency of labelingNumber of videos/frames/tasks completedTurnaround timeAdherence to annotation guidelinesRework/error percentageEducational Qualification Graduate or undergraduate qualification in any discipline.Candidates with strong computer skills and attention to detail may also be considered based on the requirements of the project.A technical or computer-science background is not mandatory.What the Role Contributes Video annotation is an important part of the Machine Learning development lifecycle.
