01Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain robust financial models to support strategic decision-making
Analyze historical financial data, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend actionable improvements
Evaluate financial performance by comparing actual results with budgets and forecasts
Collaborate closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Lead and streamline the cost analysis process, ensuring adherence to policies and controls
Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term planning models
Conduct market research, industry analysis, and valuation benchmarking (comps)
Support transaction-related activities, including:
Financial Due Diligence (FDD)
Deal evaluation and analysis
Investment memos and presentations
Apply experience from IB/TAS engagements to provide deeper insights into financial performance and deal dynamics
Identify and drive process improvements, automation, and efficiency initiatives
Develop dashboards, reports, and MIS using advanced Excel and BI tools
Track operational and financial metrics and provide insights for business optimization
Ensure quality review and mentorship of junior analysts work
Required Skills & Experience:
MBA in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Statistics (preferred)
Relevant experience in Investment Banking (IB), Transaction Advisory (TAS), or Financial Due Diligence (FDD) is mandatory
Strong hands-on experience in:
Financial modeling
Valuation (DCF, comps, etc.)
Financial analysis and forecasting
Proven experience in a quantitative and analytical role
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business drivers
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (mandatory)
Experience with tools like Power BI / SQL / financial databases (good to have)
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure, client-driven environment
Self-starter with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
