Analyst Data Integration (Financial Data) | Mumbai

Company:  B2B investment firm that provides access to specialised asset managers across private and secondary markets

Job Responsibilities:
Integrate datasets from external providers, fund houses, and APIs
Design and manage ETL workflows
Clean, standardize, and validate investment datasets (NAV, AUM, ISIN, holdings, benchmarks)
Develop SQL queries for validation, reconciliation, and reporting
Automate recurring data workflows using Python
Perform end-to-end data validation across legacy and modern platforms
Support platform migration and modernization initiatives
Maintain documentation for mapping rules and validation checks
Troubleshoot discrepancies with internal teams and data providers

Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple datasets independently
Comfortable working in small, high-performance teams
Stable job progression preferred

Technical Skills:
Strong SQL (MySQL / PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server)
Hands-on Python (Pandas, NumPy)
Experience working with REST APIs, JSON/XML
Strong ETL process understanding
Advanced Excel (Power Query, validation tools)

Education:

• B.E. / M.S. in CS, IT, Data Science, Engineering, Statistics or related field

Experience:

5+ years in data management, data engineering, or financial data operations
