Analyst (Data/Business)

As an Analyst (Data/ Business) at Wissen Technology in Mumbai, you will be a part of the Data & Analytics Group (DAG) and play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and well-governed data across investment management platforms. Your responsibilities will include: - Reviewing, analyzing, and resolving data quality issues in the Investment Management (IM) data architecture. - Collaborating with data owners and cross-functional teams to identify root causes of data issues and implement corrective actions. - Managing the onboarding and integration of data from various internal and external sources into the central data repository. - Defining and implementing data quality (DQ) rules in partnership with data owners and IT, enhancing DQ controls. - Conducting comprehensive analysis of business processes, data flows, and usage to identify opportunities for re-engineering and efficiency improvements. - Engaging with business stakeholders to understand, prioritize, and address data-related requirements and challenges. - Documenting detailed business requirements and use cases for data-centric projects. - Overseeing change control processes and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT). - Identifying, tracking, and escalating data-related issues for timely resolution. - Contributing to strategic initiatives led by the Data & Analytics Group (DAG). Your qualifications should include: - Strong domain knowledge of investment banking and financial data. - 4-10 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in investment or asset management. - Hands-on experience in data analysis and profiling using SQL. - Working knowledge of coding with familiarity in Python is a plus. - Experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI is preferred.
