The ideal candidate with strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and communication skills, capable of delivering high-quality investment insights and company analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Create and maintain MS Excel-based financial models with forecasts
Benchmark companies by financial and operating statistics
Create presentations on industry and company research for marketing and roadshow activities
Collect information from industry or sector databases
Calculate or compare valuation comparable
Handle ad hoc research requests
Collect financial data using online and other sources such as Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters
Coordinate and maintain industry databases wherever relevant
Conduct extensive company valuations involving approaches such as DCF, DDM, trading and transaction multiples, and EVA
Prepare company profiles; earning and flash notes; quarterly updates; coverage, sector, and theme based reports; newsletters; technology primers, etc.
Summarize investment conference calls and conduct management interviews Required
Qualification
CA Rank holder is mandatory
Ability to identify and solve issues effectively and within deadlines
Basic knowledge of microeconomics / macroeconomics is must
Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
Ability to think outside the box
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel
Knowledge of VBA will be advantageous) .
