01Key Responsibilities
The key areas of responsibilities are as follows:
Manage a portfolio of FF borrowers and undertake objective detailed due diligence and underwriting of subscription / capital call facilities and/or foreign exchange limits. Managing end to end annual renewal of limits, amendments and/or waivers, and borrower ratings as per the Banks credit processes and procedures collaborating with other stakeholders (Product team and Credit Officers / Approvers).Support Product team / Credit Officers on requests related to new transactions, amendments and/or waivers, or other portfolio reviews.Covenant checks and periodic monitoring reports.Support in preparation of presentations for Management reporting, Credit Committee meetings etc.Preparation of periodic sector reports and stress tests of the portfolio (e.g. Tariff impact, exchange rate volatility, liquidity crisis)Audit management Internal, External including regulatory inspections (Credit Examination, JFSA / OCC / BoJ / FED / Statutory etc.)Maintenance of credit files as per Banks procedures and requirements.Essential Skills:
Strong understanding of financial statements / credit analysis of subscription / capital call facilities and/or foreign exchange limitsStrong proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word and other credit related applications.Must possess excellent communication and report writing skills.Strong team player with attention to detail, collaborative attitude and diligent.Ability to understand macroeconomic environment and assessing impact on the borrowers / portfolio.Prior experience in foreign exchange/derivatives an added advantagePrior experience of managing credit portfolio in a similar set up is necessary.Attention to details, sensitivity towards timelines, ability to handle multiple tasks in various stages, and problem-solving mindset.Qualification:
MBA / equivalent from a premier instituteCA/ CFA/ FRMExperience:
FI credit analyst working in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) / Centre of Excellence (CoE) set up. Existing exposure to US markets will be an added advantage. Analyst should have 1 to 2 years of work experience.
