Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic professionals with 13 years of experience in Property & Casualty (P&C;) Underwriting to join our growing team in Chennai.
If you have hands-on experience in underwriting support, policy servicing, renewals, policy issuance, quotes, and P&C; insurance operations, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform underwriting activities as per defined business scope.
- Coordinate with Agents and Brokers through email to collect and analyze insurance information.
- Support underwriting decisions by gathering information from multiple sources including emails, workflows, MVR, ISO reports, loss runs, and third-party systems.
- Prepare quotes, policy issuance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, and policy updates.
- Review submission documents and ensure completeness within defined TAT.
- Maintain accurate underwriting records and policy information in underwriting systems.
- Compile reports and analytics to support underwriting decisions.
- Ensure policy documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with underwriting guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with underwriters, brokers, agents, and internal stakeholders.
