Key Responsibilities
- Design & Modeling: Utilize Ansys HFSS to design and optimize antennas for space, terrestrial, and phased array applications.
- Full-Wave Simulation: Conduct Finite Element Method (FEM) and Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) simulations to analyze parameters such as S-parameters, gain, radiation patterns, and efficiency.
- Impedance Matching: Design matching networks using Smith Charts and tools like QUCS to ensure maximal power transfer.
- Prototyping: Collaborate with PCB designers to translate electromagnetic models into physical layouts.
- Testing & Validation: Perform hands-on measurements using Vector Network Analyzers (VNA) and characterize radiation patterns in Anechoic Chambers.
Qualification Required:
- Experience: 1 - 2 years of relevant experience
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field with a focus on Electromagnetics.
- Simulation Mastery: Proficiency in Ansys HFSS or CST with 12 years of professional experience. Comfortable with Linux operating system, mesh optimization, parametric sweeps, and optimizations.
- Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with RF connectors (SMA, U.FL), transmission lines (Microstrip, Stripline, Coplanar Waveguide), and PCB stack-ups.
- Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Ansys HFSS and CST Studio Suite. Basic experience with Python for data post-processing is beneficial.
