APAC Wholesale Credit Specialist

Job Title: APAC WHOLESALE CREDIT SPECIALIST ROLE PURPOSE This role is embedded within a multi-disciplinary team providing a coordinated approach to credit analysis, reporting & credit application decisioning for the APAC financial services. This role will assess the wholesale and off-book risk and credit exposure of FS managed portfolio for many markets of APAC. The person in the role will work closely with senior management teams across Capital and Brand. Also, responsible for handling projects and issues related to wholesale credit systems for entire APAC region. This role will ensure credit quality and integrity is maintained across all credit submissions in line with all wholesale credit underwriting principles, policies & compliance procedures. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for wholesale credit underwriting for dealers, distributors, and direct customers for APAC Financial statement analysis of customers and assess overall credit worthiness and identify underlying credit risk Support risk management team in introduction/renewal/modification in credit models, early warning indicators, and credit system development & enhancements Formulate, implement and update credit risk policies & guideline in line ensuring the same is aligned to industry standards and regulatory requirements Understand country specific policies, procedures, regulations, and compliances Communicate policy changes to the relevant stake holders and provide training as needed Monitor and analyze portfolio performance, identifying stress segments and early warning signals Facilitates the development of risk mitigation strategies for the companys critical risks and for monitoring these risks. Administer and manage all credit risk management initiatives in the organization Stakeholder management coordinate with Capital and brand teams to ensure the effective credit risk management. Conduct client/dealer visits and monitor the financial status and credibility of strategic clients/dealers. Liaison with business team on introduction of new financing products in line with market/competition practices. qualification, skills, and experience Graduate / post-graduate in finance, management, accounting, or commerce 5-8 years of relevant experience in large muti-national banks and captive finance companies Exposure to Captive finance especially in Agriculture and Construction segments would be a plus Strong understanding of credit underwriting, risk analytics & management, financial analysis, and related processes. Demonstrated detailed understanding of financial statements Demonstrated risk analytics skills Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly communicate with various stakeholders. Demonstrated analytical and report writing skills Demonstrated effective influencing & negotiation skills Demonstrated effective time management & computer skills Language Requirement(s): English Key Internal and External Relationships Internal: FS APAC Credit, Portfolio, Finance, Compliance, Legal. Global Risk and Credit, Industrial Sales country teams.
