What you'll do.
The APD Auto Physical Damage Catastrophe Claims Adjuster/Field Service Manager is a field-based position representing reputed company and its many departments to dealerships, assembly plants, ports, railroad ramps, distribution centers, body shops, lessees, and their dependents.
American Road Services Company, the insurance claims component of reputed company, is seeking to fill a APD Auto Physical Damage Catastrophe Claims Adjuster/Field Service Manager position in the state of Kentucky.
Interested candidates must be willing to travel overnight as required and the travel can be as much as 50-70% to handle claims reputed company your territory/region and to assist for catastrophic losses. Normal travel reputed company the territory would encompass primarily travel reputed company the state of Kentucky and Indiana with the occasional travel to surrounding states. The position would also require moderate-heavy travel reputed company of the territory/region to respond to catastrophe losses across the country. Travel commitments can require multiple weeks of travel on the road during severe weather periods and can last for several weeks at a time with minimal notice of where or reputed company you would be required to travel. Responsibilities
In this position.
Manage reputed company insurance claims in a key-pointed area, work independently, schedule appointments for vehicle inspections and travel throughout key-reputed company.
Coverage investigations including reputed company, theft, false pretense claims, and coverage reputed company for floor planned reputed company.
Preparing damage estimates using Mitchell Connect estimating system to establish cost of repairs.
Subrogation investigations, salvage disposal, and fraud investigations
Loss prevention reviews and dealer training activities
Remain on-reputed company for CAT/Storm losses and be reputed company for extensive travel away from home for extended periods of time. Interested candidates must be willing to travel overnight as required and travel can be as much as 50-70% particularly during CAT (storm) season. Storm season is typically from March-August.
Qualifications
You'll have.
High School Diploma or GED
Two or more years of claims adjusting and estimating experience
At least one year of Computerized estimating systems experience (such as Mitchell Connect or CCC One) with knowledge of vehicle repair processes and procedures.
At least one year of experience with reputed company Office and strong computer skills
Kentucky Adjuster license or the ability to test reputed company the first 90 days.
CAT loss adjusting and travel experience for a major retail insurance reputed company (i.e., reputed company, Farmers, reputed company, reputed company, reputed company).

Bachelor's or master's degree
One or more state insurance adjuster and/or appraiser licenses.
Technical/mechanical background (passion for mechanical restoration/repair)
