**API + Data Testing** Chennai Full-time Hybrid --- **About the Role** API Data Testing Quality Engineer role requires an experienced professional with 6 to 9 years of experience in Software Testing Quality Engineering and Test Automation. The role involves working on API and data testing, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing and quality engineering. Success in this role will depend on the ability to design and develop automation frameworks, test APIs, and validate data. --- **Key Responsibilities** - Design and develop automation frameworks for API and data testing - Test REST API, SOAP, and web services - Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium and Rest Assured - Perform database testing, SQL, ETL testing, and data warehouse testing - Validate data and perform data reconciliation - Develop common function libraries and automation reporting - Debug code and perform test-driven design - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve problems - Implement best practices and process improvements --- **Requirements** - Develop software using Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Analyze requirements and design automation testing solutions - Perform system testing, user acceptance testing, and problem resolution - Develop and enhance automation frameworks and generic utility development - Create and validate reports using OBIEE and Tableau - Develop and execute SQL queries for database testing - Perform data validation, data reconciliation, and data quality validation - Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute testing --- **Good to Have** - Experience with CI/CD engineering, continuous integration, and continuous deployment - Knowledge of software engineering principles and software development life cycle (SDLC) --- **What We Offer** - Opportunity to work with a client on a hybrid mode - Collaborative work environment with a team of experienced professionals - Professional growth and development opportunities - Interview process includes BOT, L1 Technical, PM Discussion (F2F), and Client Technical rounds .
