Key Responsibilities

- Guide and mentor junior team members from both technical and functional standpoints, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. - Take ownership of functional deliveries and be hands-on in tasks. - Utilize expertise in Java and Selenium to design, develop, and maintain performance test suites, including employing Java Script and Performance Testing tools like JMeter. - Manage comprehensive testing phases from planning to execution for functional and non-functional requirements, collaborating closely with team members and clients. - Analyze and report on QA metrics, trends, and improvement opportunities, presenting findings to senior management and suggesting corrective actions. - Drive a culture of quality within the organization, prioritizing enhancements for application stability and scalability. - Conduct reviews of applications and workflows to improve automation effectiveness and maintain quality standards. - Promote principles of inclusion and diversity within the team through specific recruiting, management actions, and employee engagement. Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech./MCA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 4-6 years of proven experience in a senior QA role within the financial services industry Skills and Experience: - Strong understanding of investment management processes, risk management methodologies, regulatory compliance requirements, and investment accounting - Expertise in performance test frameworks, tools, and scripting languages - Experience in leading and implementing QA programs for continuous improvement - Proficiency in software quality assurance and engineering processes, methodologies, and Agile development - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills - Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL, application infrastructure technologies, and API testing - Self-motivated with the ability to identify and solve complex issues through collaboration Nice to have: - Agile development experience - Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD integration, AI, Machine Learning, Specflow/Cucumber, BDD, cloud-based testing, and API testing tools At BlackRock, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits including a strong retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, comprehensive healthcare, and Flexible Time Off.
