As a Application/Sys Sales Eng II - Product Sales & Pre Sales here at Honeywell, you will serve as a critical technical resource supporting our sales teams by providing expert product knowledge, pre-sales technical support, and customer-focused solutions. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, demonstrate product capabilities, and collaborate closely with sales to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
You will report directly to our Sales Manager and youll work out of our regional office on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact Honeywells ability to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements, accelerate sales cycles, and strengthen customer relationships, thereby contributing to the companys market leadership and business growth.
YOU MUST HAVE
Proven experience in technical sales support, product application engineering, or pre-sales roles.
Strong knowledge of Honeywell products and solutions relevant to the assigned market or industry.
Ability to understand and translate customer technical requirements into product solutions.
Experience with product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposal development.
Familiarity with relevant tools and software used in sales engineering and customer engagement.
WE VALUE
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
3+ years of experience in product sales support, pre-sales engineering, or field application engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Good understanding of industry trends and customer needs in the relevant sector.
Strong knowledge of CCTV & Access Control system architecture.
Excellent understanding product datasheets & technical specs of Access Control and CCTV System.
Good working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
Good communication & presentation skills.
Willingness to travel extensively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical expertise and product knowledge to support sales and pre-sales activities.
Engage with customers to understand their technical requirements and propose appropriate Honeywell solutions.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof of concepts.
Assist in the preparation of technical proposals and respond to customer inquiries during the sales process.
Work closely with product development and engineering teams to relay customer feedback and support product improvements.
What You will do
Design end-to-end SITC BOQs for CCTV, Access Control & Networking solutions.
Create impactful technical proposals, presentations & tender documents.
Conduct Site Visits, product demos, POCs at customer and partner locations.
Attend Pre Bid and Represnet Honeywell to End Customers.
Deliver technical trainings to partners and end users.
Collaborate with sales teams for solution selling & customer engagement.
