Our client is a leading Global Investment Bank who is keen to hire a Director for their Data Operations and Risk team to manage the entire Data Operations across Risk, finance, and Treasury to support the transformation and infrastructure.
We are looking for a leader, someone who has managed large teams in operations, well versed with banking processes in Risk, finance and Treasury, and is now managing the entire data operations for these functions.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
- A strategic role in the COO group working with the Global Operations leadership to build the global data operations team which involves supporting change/ transformation management as well as providing efficient and quality data to the functions.
- Partnering with the Technology and CDO leveraging to establish efficient data operations across Enterprise data and RFT transaction cycles.
- Collaborative and strong cross functional partnership across functions and build and maintain collaborative working relationships with key business unit and RFT function partners.
- Development of strategic recommendations and manage complex issues.
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- 10+ years of experience on enterprise scale initiatives within an IB or Capital market.
- Experience of Risk, finance, and treasury processes control requirements.
- Highly problem management skills with strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape pertinent to investment banking and financial institutions. .
