Area Product Owner (Pune Division)

Job Description The Area Product Owner is responsible for maximizing the value delivered by one or more engineering squads by understanding business needs and translating them into well-defined product capabilities and functional solutions. Working closely with Product Managers, Architects, Engineering teams, and Customer Success teams, the Area Product Owner is responsible for product discovery, functional solution design, backlog management, prioritization, and iterative delivery. This role requires strong collaboration, analytical thinking, user focus, and the ability to make informed decisions. While experience in Banking, and Cash Management is preferred, we are looking for someone with strong Product Ownership skills who can quickly learn new business domains and effectively partner with subject matter experts. The Expertise We're Looking For Must Have - 58 years of experience as a Product Owner. - Robust experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional engineering teams. - Demonstrated ability to translate business problems into well solutioned capabilities. - Experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs based on customer value, business priorities, and delivery objectives. - Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Design, and Customer Success teams - Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. - Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering valuable product outcomes. - Experience using Agile collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Good technical acumen, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and participate in architectural discussions. - Ability to understand and review API specifications (REST/JSON), system integrations, and data flows. - Basic understanding of databases and data models, including the ability to i .
