The role of Area Sales Manager- Affordable Home Loans (MBL) in the Sales department involves scaling up the Affordable Home loan business for the Micro Business Loan branches in a designated area. The primary objective is to deliver banking needs to customers in a cost-efficient and technology-effective manner. Collaboration with various teams including Retail, product operations, sales, Information technology, credit, collection, and business intelligence unit is essential for achieving this goal. The key responsibility is to provide customers with a seamless and fulfilling experience, making IDFC First the primary bank for all banking needs.Acquisition of Home loan customers in the identified segment and generating references from the specified catchment area are essential tasks. Growing the asset under management base for home loan lending solutions and meeting revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets are critical for success. Collaboration with the product team to offer customers best-in-class solutions, planning target and manpower for the region, recruitment, training of manpower, and meeting disbursement targets are key responsibilities.Secondary responsibilities include meeting business targets, monitoring and mentoring the team, tracking competition, managing portfolio, and ensuring audit compliance. Managerial responsibilities involve identifying business areas with high potential, executing penetration strategies, and improving branch profitability and portfolio quality.Education Qualifications required for this role are Graduation in any discipline, Post Graduation in MBA or PGDM, and a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in Home loans., .
