Job Description (JD) Position: Area Sales Executive (ASE)

Reporting To: Area Sales Manager (ASM) Job Purpose The Area Sales Executive (ASE) will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distributors, expanding General Trade distribution, ensuring superior market execution, and achieving business objectives within the assigned territory under Patna HQ. Key Responsibilities * Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets.
* Manage distributors and ensure healthy distributor operations.
* Drive numeric and weighted distribution across the assigned territory.
* Recruit, train, and manage Market Representatives (MRs).
* Ensure beat planning, outlet coverage, and productivity improvement.
* Execute trade schemes, merchandising, visibility drives, and BTL activities.
* Improve product availability and retail execution.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and retailer feedback.
* Ensure timely order booking, collections, claims processing, and sales reporting.
* Build robust relationships with distributors, retailers, and trade partners. Experience Required * 57 years of relevant experience in General Trade Sales within the FMCG industry.
* Hands-on experience in distributor handling and market development.
* Experience in managing Market Representatives/Salesmen.
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Educational Qualification * Graduate in any discipline.
* MBA/PGDM will be an added advantage. .
