Job Description

Role Overview

As part of the Asset & Wealth Management Division at Goldman Sachs, you will be working in a culture that values integrity and transparency, and be part of a diverse team passionate about delivering dedicated investment and advisory services to clients worldwide. You will play a key role in the Operations function, partnering with all parts of the firm to provide essential risk management, controls, and asset management services to clients. Your responsibilities will include coordinating issues across all Operations teams and business partners, ensuring accuracy in client accounts, and providing thought leadership in navigating the financial regulatory landscape.

Key Responsibilities

- Review account level metrics and resolve daily cash & position exceptions - Coordinate cash-flow bookings, security transfers, and overdrafts to ensure accuracy in client accounts - Monitor cash flows/transfer requests and process within agreed SLA - Liaise with clients' appointed counter parties and respond to service requests - Ensure accounting data accuracy and provide accounting policy oversight - Proactively review indicators of operational issues and work towards solutions - Ensure timely instruction of external manager fee payments and capital calls/distributions - Partner across regional and global teams to streamline processes and drive positive client experience - Provide thought leadership in navigating financial regulatory landscape and developing technological solutions - Apply process reengineering methodologies in executing strategies and tactical solutions

Qualifications Required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint - Bachelor's degree required - Previous experience in Operations and/or Financial Services industry (1-2 years) - Ability to partner across product groups, regions, and functional responsibilities - Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral - Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and a strong consensus builder Additional Details: Goldman Sachs, founded in 1869, is a leading global investment banking, securities, and investment management firm headquartered in New York.
