Role Overview
You will be a part of the GSAM Retail SMA Oversight team within the Asset Management Division at Goldman Sachs. Your role will involve partnering with diversified clients and global business counterparts to provide an exceptional client experience, define solutions, and drive change across the operational infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to apply your client service and analytical skills while deepening your understanding of asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Asset & Wealth Management teams to design and implement a strategic platform supporting the Retail Separately Managed Account (SMA)
- Perform daily activities including funding and reviewing breaks across retail function
- Provide trading desk support for ad-hoc queries and ongoing business initiatives
- Coordinate with portfolio managers on cash funding, withdrawals, trading requests, and account attribute changes
Qualifications Required
- Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in asset management or related field such as accountancy or middle office functions
- Strong focus on risk management
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based applications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and consensus builder
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
