Job Details Position: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager (AM/DM)Department: Contract Logistics (Sales & Business Development)Location: GurgaonCategory: Middle Level ManagementEmployment Type: Full-timeTravel: YesKey Responsibilities Understand customer requirements through discussions, site visits, RFQs/RFPs/RFIs.Design customized logistics solutions, including:Warehouse layoutsManpower planningProductivity analysisProcess flow designCost modelingPrepare techno-commercial proposals with:P&LPricingSLAsOperational modelsAcquire and onboard new customers.Coordinate with sales, operations, transport, and IT teams.Build accurate cost models to ensure profitability and competitiveness.Manage bids and tenders end-to-end (analysis, solution design, submission, negotiation).Lead project implementation, handover, and go-live.Conduct market and competitor analysis.Focus on warehousing, transportation, and in-house logistics services.Educational Qualification Preferred qualifications include: Master's in Supply Chain ManagementIndustrial EngineeringMBA (Marketing/International Business)Experience 1015 years of relevant experience.Preferred Skills Strong understanding of contract logistics and supply chain operations.Expertise in:Solution designCostingWarehouse optimizationKaizen/continuous improvementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Suitable Candidate Profile This role is best suited for someone who has: Extensive experience in 3PL/Contract Logistics.Experience preparing logistics solutions and commercial proposals.Knowledge of warehouse design, transportation, and supply chain optimization.Customer-facing sales and business development experience.Strong cross-functional coordination and project implementation skills. .
