Job Description

Role Overview

You will be responsible for designing the current and future strategy of the mid and large corporate segment of the channel, with a focus on achieving profitability. Your role will also involve allocating the team to cater to partner requirements, increasing market share, and ensuring quality and targets are met.

Key Responsibilities

- Define & set targets for the Sales Force as per the business plan - Guide and collaborate with Regional Managers to create growth plans for each Region / channel - Develop strategies on capacity building and improving distribution reach - Identify strengths of newer channels and create distribution structures for maximum cross-utilization of resources and revenue maximization - Drive communication of sales programs, structures, and initiatives for a single-minded focus and objectives - Source & develop new partner channels to enhance distribution and improve market penetration - Drive the desired product mix for the sales team - Monitor market trends closely and propose product modifications accordingly - Collaborate with the Actuarial Team on pricing modifications based on market trends - Get buy-in, support, and commitment from existing channels to be the preferred Insurer - Continuously work on Relationship Management by aligning manning patterns with business requirements - Build relationships with seniors and gain access to newer channels for increased revenue and profitability - Ensure the design and implementation of cutting-edge Sales Management Practices - Collaborate on appropriate progression plans, sales incentives plans, and training plans - Ensure adequate recognition platforms and programs to reward performance - Manage expenses within allowable Expense Gap by increasing distributor and internal team productivity - Design and implement a unique customer experience program for assigned channels to ensure consistency of experience - Devise a comprehensive renewals strategy for the assigned Partner and drive with the sales team to achieve milestones - Recruit competitive talent, mentor, supervise, coach, and provide direction to subordinates for their skill development and higher responsibilities

Qualifications Required
