Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager - Finance - to oversee key finance functions with a strong focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll Operations. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, vendor invoice management, statutory compliance, reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines. Review and validate vendor invoices for correctness and completeness. Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving/delivery reports before processing payments. Prepare and review General Ledger (GL) reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items. Ensure compliance with GST and TDS regulations, including timely filing and payments. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Assist in preparing financial reports and schedules required by management and auditors. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth finance operations and process compliance.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. 5-7 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance. Strong exposure to Accounts Payable and Payroll processes. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis. Good communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience with Workday is an added advantage. Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines. .
