01Overview
Key Responsibilities :
Retail Design & Concept Development :
- Support the creation and execution of retail design concepts aligned with brand guidelines and customer experience objectives.
- Develop innovative design solutions for stores, shop-in-shops, experience centers, and retail touchpoints.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity, design standards, and customer experience across locations.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and operations teams to implement design initiatives.
Space Planning & Customer Experience :
- Optimize retail spaces to improve customer engagement, navigation, and product visibility.
- Evaluate customer journeys and recommend design enhancements to improve shopping experiences.
- Ensure effective utilization of available retail space while maintaining brand standards.
- Participate in store layout reviews and design improvement projects.
Project Coordination :
- Coordinate design projects from concept to execution.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and design objectives.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, approvals, and implementation milestones.
- Support multiple design initiatives simultaneously while maintaining quality standards.
Brand & Visual Consistency :
- Ensure all design outputs align with brand positioning and visual guidelines.
- Support the development of design standards and best practices.
- Conduct periodic reviews to maintain consistency across retail locations.
- Recommend improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management :
- Coordinate with external agencies, design partners, and service providers as required.
- Ensure timely delivery of project requirements and adherence to quality expectations.
- Build effective working relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in resolving project-related challenges and escalations.
Design Research & Innovation :
- Monitor industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging retail concepts.
- Conduct competitor benchmarking and market research.
- Identify opportunities to enhance retail experiences through innovative design approaches.
- Contribute ideas that improve customer engagement and brand perception.
Reporting & Documentation :
- Maintain project documentation, design standards, and approval records.
- Prepare project status reports and presentations for stakeholders.
- Track project progress and support management reviews.
- Ensure proper documentation of design changes and implementation updates.
Required Qualifications :
Education :
- Postgraduate qualification in Design Management or Retail Design is preferred.
Experience :
- Experience working within retail, consumer brands, lifestyle, fashion, or FMCG environments preferred.
- Proven experience managing multiple design projects and stakeholder interactions.
