01Key Responsibilities
- Perform risk-based Quality Assurance reviews of corporate and institutional credit sanctioning decisions.
- Conduct detailed corporate credit analysis and assess transaction structures, financials, risk mitigants, pricing, and documentation.
- Review inbound cross-border credit transactions to ensure compliance with internal credit standards and governance requirements.
- Identify emerging risk themes, trends, control gaps, and recommend process improvements.
- Prepare quality assurance reports, management information (MI), and insightful portfolio analytics for senior management.
- Validate credit proposals, committee papers, and supporting documentation prior to approvals.
- Liaise with Front Office, Credit, Risk, and global stakeholders to resolve transaction-related queries.
- Track approval conditions, maintain audit trails, and ensure adherence to internal policies.
- Contribute towards enhancing QA methodologies, review frameworks, and best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and support continuous capability development.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
- 3-8 years of experience in Corporate Credit Analysis, Credit Risk, Credit Sanctioning, Credit Review, Credit Audit, Quality Assurance, or Structured Finance within a bank or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of:
1. Corporate Banking
2. Credit Risk Assessment
3. Financial Statement Analysis
4. Credit Structuring
5. Loan Documentation
6. Credit Policies & Governance
- Experience working with large corporates, structured finance, or investment banking credit portfolios will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
