About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Credit / Portfolio Risk professional to lead risk strategy for an unsecured lending portfolio with a fast-growing financial services business.
What will you do:
- Own and drive portfolio risk strategy for unsecured lending.
- Monitor PAR, delinquency, roll rates, bounce, flow rates, vintage/MOB and EWS.
- Drive portfolio segmentation and risk-based decisioning.
- Identify portfolio deterioration and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with Credit, Collections, Business, Product, Analytics & Technology teams.
- Drive collections strategy and treatment optimization.
- Analyse credit cost/loss and portfolio quality.
- Develop portfolio dashboards, MIS and risk monitoring frameworks.
- Recommend improvements to credit policies, underwriting parameters and risk triggers.
- Present portfolio insights and risk recommendations to senior management.
Ideal candidate:
- 8+ years of Credit / Portfolio Risk experience.
- Strong unsecured lending / Personal Loan experience.
- Hands-on portfolio risk management experience.
- Strong understanding of credit risk metrics and portfolio analytics.
- Experience in risk segmentation and strategy optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Exposure to co-lending / lending partner portfolios is an advantage.
- SQL / Python / Advanced Excel / BI exposure preferred. .
