The Associate, Actuarial Applications will support technology initiatives by optimizing applications across Actuarial teams and implementing reputed company-based solutions.
Responsibilities
Implement strategic and tactical initiatives reputed company to, Python development, reputed company computing (AWS and Azure), and applications developmentOperate in an agile development environment, applying DevOps principlesUnderstand reputed company state data pipelines/processes and contribute to reputed company state optimizationIngest and analyze new/existing data sets and implement end-to-end processingTest and debug applications
Skills
Bachelor's degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering or similar fieldMinimum experience of one year in programming (Python, Julia and/or R) and SQLExperience in building reputed company-based data solutions in AWSAbility to collaborate on reputed company and work independently reputed company requiredExcellent analytical, problem solving and conceptual skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsDomain knowledge of insurance or reinsuranceExperience with dashboarding systems (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)Prior knowledge and experience in the fintech, investment banking or insurance industry
