Strategic Client Leadership: Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and deliver strategic indirect tax solutions aligned with business objectives.
Business Development: Drive practice growth by identifying new opportunities, expanding client relationships, and contributing to revenue generation.
Technical Leadership: Provide expert guidance on indirect tax laws, regulatory developments, and complex technical matters.
People Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
Engagement Management: Oversee complex client engagements, ensuring quality delivery, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
Risk & Compliance: Manage indirect tax risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, firm policies, and governance standards.
Strategic Advisory: Advice clients on tax optimization, business restructuring, supply chain, and tax transformation initiatives.
Litigation & Representation: Lead complex tax litigation and represent clients before tax authorities and appellate forums.
Quality Assurance: Drive quality, process improvements, and adherence to professional and confidentiality standards.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated, client-centric solutions.
Thought Leadership: Enhance the firm's market presence through publications, industry forums, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Practice Management: Support practice strategy through business planning, resource management, and profitability initiatives.
Ethics & Governance: Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professional ethics, and corporate governance.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA) with more than 10 years of experience in Tax Regulatory Services, GST, and Indirect Taxation (IDT).
B.Com degree from a reputed college or university.
Strong technical knowledge of indirect taxation.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Persistent and persuasive, with a strong focus on achieving goals.
