Job DescriptionTo provide support and leadership on a wide range of projects with a focus on evidence synthesis (i.e., structured/targeted literature reviews, systematic literature reviews, indirect treatment comparison feasibility assessments, and health technology assessment landscape/gap assessments). Other projects may include health economics and/or value communications projects as well as working alongside other team members and clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:Project-relatedProvide leadership to ensure projects are underpinned by strong and defendable evidence synthesis concepts and methodsExecute projects that meet client expectationsDetermine and manage project scope, timelines, and budgets across multiple projectsSet project scope, strategy, and timelinesDelegate activities to and supervise junior staff and contractorsOversee projects with guidance from senior managementEmpower project team members to take accountability for their workIdentify and resolve project team issues and conflictsProactively manage scope changes, risks, and contingency plansOversee and implement quality control activitiesEnsure timely project billingMethodological-relatedServe as an evidence synthesis expert for internal and external stakeholdersDevelop evidence synthesis plans and support complex analyses (e.g., meta-analyses, indirect treatment comparisons) to support HTA submissions and/or market access/HEOR activitiesInterpret and report synthesis results for non-statistical audiencesSupport junior team in developing methodological expertise and professional skillsClient-relatedDevelop reports, abstracts, posters, and presentationsSupport or lead proposal development and delivery to clientsLead client meetings independentlyBegin developing and maintaining a personal client baseSupport business development activities (e.g., capability presentations, repeat business)Seek and incorporate client feedback to ensure satisfactionCompany-relatedIdentify and support development of best practices and tools for project execution, people management, and trainingContribute to company-level decisions on direction, staffing, and workloadIdentify needs for additional staff or consultantsParticipate in early hiring activities, including application review and interviewsProvide one-on-one mentorship to new employeesDemonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusionPerform other duties as assigned.PEOPLE LEADERPeople leaders must possess both the skills to effectively accomplish these tasks and the emotional intelligence to do so in alignment with our cultural values.
