Role Overview
As the Associate Director, Lending Fraud Risk at Standard Chartered, you will play a crucial role in supporting the fraud risk strategy by identifying emerging fraud trends, providing insights for risk mitigation, and implementing fraud risk management infrastructure for channels and products within the organization. Your 10+ years of experience in the Financial Services sector will be essential in managing fraud risk while aligning investigations with broader fraud strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the fraud risk strategy by identifying emerging fraud trends and providing insights for risk mitigation.
- Provide feedback on the effectiveness of fraud risk tools and suggest improvements or new solutions.
- Implement the Fraud Risk management infrastructure for channels and products within the organization.
- Manage fraud risk, assisting businesses with implementing 'best in class' tools & processes to minimize fraud losses.
- Partner with risk management teams to align investigations with broader fraud strategies.
- Implement FRM policy, strategies, and Global Process Standards across all channels and products.
- Develop application fraud detection framework for all products and channels to identify and respond to external fraud risks.
- Provide subject matter expertise to stakeholders on fraud trends.
- Deploy strategies and oversee processes and controls across products and channels for managing lending external fraud risk.
- Identify industry best fraud risk infrastructure and management practices for adoption within the country.
Qualification Required:
- Proven experience (10+ years- Financial Services) in Fraud Risk Management Technology.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance & Accounting, Law, Business Management, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in business and technical analysis in complex projects.
- Quick learner with excellent analytical and writing skills.
- Ability to work with stakeholders globally.
