Job Description

Role Overview

You will be a part of the Data hub Unit, which supports the Group Risk Function and provides peripheral support to the CEO CIB Function. Your primary responsibility will be to handle a wide spectrum of activities to support data reporting across various PRTs.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage in data wrangling activities such as gathering, transforming, mapping, building business views, and automating sourcing processes to enhance the quality of data for downstream purposes like analytics, reporting, and visualization. - Establish and deploy appropriate BAU controls effectively in GBS. - Collaborate with partner teams to develop next-generation data products and analytics solutions. - Analyze problem statements, propose potential solutions, and advocate for data-driven analytics. - Conduct thorough validation and data quality checks to ensure accurate and value-adding solutions. - Collaborate with various stakeholders across all seniority levels to address urgent and strategic risk management needs. - Coordinate with Risk reporting team and ERM teams to leverage existing results/analytics or processes. - Provide expertise in migrating PoC projects to productionize in collaboration with different teams.

Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's or Master's degree with a technical degree preferred (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science). - Extensive programming experience using SQL, Python, SAS, and Excel Automation. - Hands-on experience in data used for models' development and best practices in data management. - Previous experience in risk management, Stress Testing, or IFRS9 is an added advantage. - Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels and situations. - Exposure to advanced machine learning methodologies is a plus. - Knowledge of data models and coding knowledge is preferable.
