Role Overview
Prime Finance is looking for a team-oriented and motivated Associate to join our Accounting team in San Francisco. The ideal candidate brings a solid accounting foundation and a self-starter mentality, with at least three years of experience in an accounting or finance role. Experience with private equity fund accounting, data gathering, and reporting is a strong plus.
In this role, you'll support the Accounting, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, and Compliance functions by preparing recurring and ad hoc reporting across accounting and fund-related information. You'll work closely with the Accounting team while building relationships cross-functionally with other departments, external advisors, and members of the management team.
Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare regular and one-off reports on fund performance.
Pull together data for investor reports and SEC filings.
Calculate key fund figures such as NAV, waterfalls, and capital balances.
Complete recurring investor requests on time.
Answer internal and external questions on fund financial data.
Prepare portfolio reports for senior management.
Suggest ways to make reporting faster and more accurate.
Work closely with the Accounting team and other departments.
