Role Overview
You will be responsible for handling tax and equity related technical accounting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Your role will involve ensuring accurate accounting and financial reporting for all equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718. Additionally, you will be conducting research activities on tax issues, advising internal teams, preparing and advising on technical accounting standards, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle tax and equity related technical accounting
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting for equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718
- Conduct research activities on tax issues and advise internal teams
- Prepare and advise on technical accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline financial processes
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for strategic decisions
- Oversee audits and liaise with auditors for smooth completion
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Support the Accounting & Finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications Required
- CA / CPA with 8-15 years of experience in Tax and Equity accounting
- Proficiency in technical accounting and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards such as ASC 718 and 842
- Experience in the software sector or a similar domain
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work
