Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Australian Accountant to manage accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, and compliance activities for Australian clients. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Australian accounting practices and cloud-based accounting software.
Key Responsibilities
Manage bookkeeping and accounting activities for Australian clients.Prepare financial statements and management reports.Handle BAS, IAS, GST, Payroll, and Superannuation compliance.Prepare Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders.Perform bank, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.Support month-end and year-end closing activities.Communicate with Australian clients and resolve accounting queries.Ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned work.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.3+ years of Australian Accounting experience.Good knowledge of BAS, GST, ATO compliance, Payroll, and Superannuation.Experience with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Hubdoc.Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills.CA/CPA qualification or pursuit of CA/CPA will be an advantage.Compensation: 800,000.00 - 1,200,000.00 per year
