Job Description Responsible for investigating and confirming facts of loss for complex automobile accidents. Determines coverage, liability, damages, adjusts and negotiates claims within authority limits. Mentors junior staff. This is a remote auto claims adjuster role; ideal candidates will have auto claims experience and can sit in any time zone. Currently, we do not hire in CA, CO, WA, HI, or NY. Key Responsibilities Assesses subrogation or fraud potential for complex cases Applies advanced understanding of insurance policies, industry standards, and organizational relationships Handles investigations of all aspects of complex auto claims with discretion and independence For injury claims, reviews, evaluates, and negotiates moderate to complex injury claims Recognizes vehicle body parts and other property damage Identifies customer needs and utilizes appropriate customer service skills Education Preferably a 4-year Bachelor's Degree Experience Preferably 3+ years of auto claims experience Supervisory Responsibilities No supervisory duties. Education & Experience (In Lieu) Equivalent education and experience may be considered. #LI-SH1 Compensation Base salary ranges from $52,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
