01Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain automation systems to optimize production lines.
Work with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and robotics to automate processes in cosmetic and personal care manufacturing.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related issues to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with R&D;, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and FDA regulations for automated processes.
Conduct risk assessments and validation testing on automation equipment.
Train and support production teams in using automated systems and controls.
Analyze production data to enhance process efficiency and reduce downtime.
Stay updated with the latest automation trends and technologies in the cosmetic industry.
Qualifications & Skills:
Hard Skills:
Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation.
Experience with robotic process automation (RPA) and machine vision systems.
Expertise in electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic control systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MATLAB, or similar automation design tools.
Understanding of GMP, ISO 22716, and FDA regulations for automated manufacturing.
Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade automation systems.
Soft Skills:
Problem-solving mindset to optimize manufacturing processes.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills for process improvement.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills for compliance and reporting.
Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven manufacturing workplace.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in PLC/SCADA programming or robotics is preferred.
Preferred Experience:
2-4 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in the cosmetics, skincare, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industry.
Hands-on experience with automated production lines and industrial robotics.
