Role Description The Automation Engineering Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. This position oversees an engineering team focused on designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that improve reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency. The role involves planning and managing automation projects, prioritizing work, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders to align automation initiatives with business objectives. The Automation Engineering Manager will guide software development and integration efforts, ensure best practices and documentation are followed, and monitor performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. This role also includes mentoring team members, conducting reviews, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive engineering culture.
Qualifications
Strong Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills, with experience guiding technical teams and managing performance.Proficiency in Software Development for automation solutions, including understanding of relevant programming languages, tools, and frameworks.Demonstrated Project Management capabilities, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Experience with Integration of automation systems into existing platforms, APIs, and workflows.Bachelors or masters degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.Background in automation engineering, test automation, or DevOps is highly beneficial.Ability to analyze complex systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement scalable solutions.Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.Commitment to inclusive leadership, continuous learning, and fostering a respectful work environment. .
