Introduction:
Under moderate supervision plans & executes test project, its risks and dependencies
Mitigate risks to Business through timely, precise automated execution and validation of test plans
Mitigates / escalates issues to Test Manager or Portfolio Test Lead as appropriate
Drive test automation throughout the development lifecycle, shifting quality left
Leading a feature team for Test including all test responsibilities within the cycle such as sizing, scripting, testing (automation & manual) as well as defect management
What will you be doing
Create/maintain automated dashboard to support quality view of the application under test
Execute automated/manual tests as required
Assist Automation Lead in managing day-to-day test Automation activities, such as test monitoring and status reporting at the end of the testing day
Responsible for Testing within the Feature team cycle
Plan for automation suits and execution to against the run plans
Creating and maintaining Automation test scripts
Ensure reusability and capture of Metrics
Ensure constructive working relationships within team
Execute tests, track, and monitor defects to closure
Increase coverage of Automation packs and pass rate in the Release Testing cycle as instructed by the Automation Lead
Build out Virtualised Services as instructed by the Automation Lead

Skills that will help you in the role:
Experience with Java and other automated testing frameworks.
Hands on experience in automation development and execution using Java, Selenium, Cucumber
Experience in BDD framework and Ui Automation and API testing.
Extensive knowledge of Testing lifecycle and core testing process/techniques using different test approaches (provide estimations, design test plan and test strategy, writing test scenarios, cases, executing test cases, opening bugs, verifying bugs)
