Reporting to the Group reporting process manager this role will:
Support the group financial reporting activity and process with a commercial mindset to ensure that M&G plc Group reporting meets regulatory obligations and strategic business objectives are achieved
Embed and continue to develop through improvement, the processes surrounding key financial reporting requirements supporting the wider Group reporting team. This includes facilitating meetings, capturing and monitoring actions, developing plans and drafting reporting instructions.
Support production of Group Reporting documentation such as Audit Committee and Disclosure Committee papers
Support the external audit process and along with the rest of the process team, manage requests and deliverables.
Respond to ad hoc requests relating to all aspects of the finance function using own initiative and in a timely manner
Develop and maintain effective working relationships within M&G plc finance and the wider finance community
Work collaboratively with colleagues and take personal accountability to maintain and enhance controls across the Group reporting team to support improvement of the overall control environment, customer outcomes and a reduction in M&G plc operational risk We have a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture at M&G Global Services, regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, nationality, disability or long term condition, we are looking to attract, promote and retain exceptional people.
